Congregation B'nai Maccabim

Adult Shabbat School is held on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM - 10:50 AM.  It consists of a series of classes, held throughout the year, that are pertainent to congregational life, belief, and practice, the Jewish community's history, social, and religious make up, and other issues that are important to Congregation Bnai Maccabim, and today's Messianic Jewish community.  There is no cost for the classes, and all are welcome to attend. Shabbat Services are on Saturday mornings beginning at 11:00 AM and ending at about 1:30 PM.  This Shabbat coincides with the 9th of Av (Tisha b'Av).  While the Fast of Tisha b'Av is put off because this is a Shabbat, both the Adult Shabbat School class and the service will be focused on the remembrances of this day, and the faithfulness of our G-d to preserve us. There are no Children's Shabbat School classes until September 15, 2012. At the conclusion of the services we eat a meal together called an Oneg.  This meal is provided by members of our congregation, and all are welcome to join us for this meal.
