"From the sabbath after the Passover you shall count for yourselves seven sevens of days, and on the 50th day it shall be to you a holy convocation." Today is that 50th day. It is a celebration of the faithfulness of our G-d in the giving of Torah at Sinai, the bringing in of the Spring harvest, and the for us, the fullfilling of Yeshua's promise to empower us through the giving of Ruach haKodesh (the Spirit of the Most Holy) to those who believed in Him as Messiah and L-rd. As usual, there is a congregational meal at the end of services.
