Shabbat Service - 11:00 AM Oneg Shabbat - 1:30 PM We will be going to the Lake after the Oneg for Tashlich. Tashlich is a traditional service during which people in the Jewish community go to a "living body of water" (something that has a moving current), to symbolically throw their sins away from them. This is done by casting bread or stones onto the water, the first to be carried away on the current , the second to sink beneath the water...never to be seen again.
